Enterprise IT and product engineering services provider ALTEN Calsoft Labs has been promoting the fact that it was included in Forrester’s new “Vendor Landscape: Oracle Services Providers Aggressively Pivot to Cloud solutions” report. This report addresses the impacts of the cloud shift and provides an overview of the Oracle services provider market and key partners helping to implement and support Oracle Cloud projects.

“Oracle remains one of the largest business application vendors in the world,” Forrester notes. “Its systems power core functions from finance to human resources to customer service to social engagement and beyond. Oracle is now making a big push into the cloud, which means new opportunities and challenges for customers.”

ALTEN Calsoft Labs delivers services related to various Oracle solutions that address such areas as customer relationship management, enterprise resource planning, and human capital management. The Oracle Gold Partner says it has more than 100 Oracle Fusion Applications experts. The company offers consulting, architecture design, and implementation development; testing and interface services; education, including manuals and training materials; go-live support integration; and security services around Oracle Fusion Applications

In September Oracle talked about its next-generation cloud strategy and unveiled Adaptive Intelligent Applications, which rely on insights from Oracle’s Data Cloud. The Oracle Data Cloud includes more than 5 billion business and consumer profiles with more than 45,000 attributes.

“A company’s data is its most valuable weapon,” said Steve Miranda, Oracle’s executive vice president of applications development. “To remain competitive today, companies must access their information in real time to intelligently forecast and grow. Oracle Adaptive Intelligent Applications leverage anonymized information from our extensive Data Cloud to optimize existing Cloud Application functionality. When this is combined with a company’s own data, we are able to provide unparalleled customized insights to help enhance business performance.”
